Under the leadership of Kimberly Leckie, DMC Resolve has consistently harnessed the power of media and strategic communications to drive meaningful social change. Fulfilling our Resolves of Human Rights, Social Justice, and Community Empowerment, one of our most impactful initiatives has been the Think Mental Health Campaign, a national movement to shift perceptions around mental health and improve access to care in Jamaica.

Through purposeful storytelling and strategic communications partnerships, DMC Resolve launched My Mental Health Story, a nationally recognized video and audio series developed in partnership with Think Mental Health JA, where Kimberly served as Executive Director. This campaign gave voice to the lived experiences of Jamaican youth, using their stories to dismantle stigma, spark empathy, and make conversations around mental health more accessible to all.

The campaign’s reach extended far beyond digital storytelling. Sensitization sessions were organized in schools, youth clubs, churches, and workplaces, bringing mental health into everyday spaces and normalizing open dialogue. In addition, free group support sessions led by mental health professionals provided practical tools and safe spaces for individuals seeking help. The initiative gained national visibility through radio, television, and print media, establishing its role as a true catalyst in Jamaica’s mental health movement.

For DMC Resolve, this work represents more than a campaign, it embodies our “Solutions Only” philosophy. By amplifying the voices of change-makers and driving real-world impact, we continue to pursue our mission: building a healthier, happier world for the next generation.
