About Our CEO
Kimberly Leckie ,
Strategic Communications Expert & Social Impact Entrepreneur
Kimberly Leckie is the Founder and CEO of DMC Resolve, an award-winning strategic communications professional and social impact entrepreneur based in Jamaica. With more than a decade of experience across strategic communications, marketing, media, entrepreneurship and social impact, Kimberly works at the intersection of business, communication, technology and human behavior.
Her work is centered on helping leaders and organizations navigate complexity, communicate with clarity and make strategic decisions that strengthen reputation, influence and long-term impact.
A Strategic Mindset. A Human Perspective.
Kimberly believes that effective communication is not simply about saying the right thing. It is about understanding what is happening, why it matters, who is affected and what needs to happen next. That philosophy has shaped her work across business, media, social impact and entrepreneurship. She brings together strategic thinking and creative intelligence to help organizations translate complex ideas into clear narratives, meaningful action and measurable outcomes.
At the Intersection of Communication & Change
The way organizations communicate is changing rapidly. Artificial intelligence is transforming how information is created, distributed and discovered. Digital platforms are reshaping reputation. Technology is changing how people work and connect. At the same time, organizations are being asked to demonstrate greater purpose, accountability and social impact. Kimberly's work increasingly explores these intersections.
Technology & AI - How emerging technologies are changing communication, reputation, work and human behavior.
Strategic Communications - How leaders and organizations can communicate with greater clarity, credibility and influence.
Reputation & Trust - How individuals and organizations build, protect and strengthen authority in an increasingly complex information environment.
Social Impact - How communication and entrepreneurship can contribute to meaningful change in communities and society.
Human Wellbeing - How organizations and technologies can better account for the people at the center of every system.
Media & Storytelling - How powerful stories can make complex ideas understandable, memorable and actionable.
Building With Purpose
Kimberly's entrepreneurial journey has consistently combined creativity with purpose. Through DMC Resolve, she has worked across strategic communications, marketing, media, creative production and social-impact initiatives, helping clients and partners address challenges ranging from positioning and growth to reputation and public engagement. Her social-impact work has included leadership of initiatives focused on mental health, youth development and community engagement.
As Executive Director of Think Mental Health Jamaica, she helped develop and advance initiatives designed to reduce stigma and create more open conversations around mental health. The organization's My Mental Health Story initiative used storytelling to amplify the experiences of young Jamaicans and encourage greater understanding of mental wellbeing.
That work remains an important part of Kimberly's professional journey and informs her broader interest in human wellbeing, social impact and the relationship between people and the systems around them.
Media, Storytelling & Production
Kimberly's experience extends beyond strategy into media and creative production. She has worked as a communicator, storyteller, host, producer and director, giving her an understanding of both sides of the communication equation: the strategy behind the message and the craft required to bring it to life. This combination allows her to approach communication from multiple perspectives from executive positioning and strategic messaging to content, storytelling and audience engagement.
Recognition
Kimberly's work has received recognition across entrepreneurship, youth development, digital innovation, communications and social impact. Her recognitions and nominations include work associated with the Prime Minister's National Youth Awards for Excellence, the Governor-General's Achievement Awards, the Digital Jamaica Change Agent Awards, and the JN Bank Innovation Challenge. These recognitions reflect a career built around creating ideas, building initiatives and using communication as a vehicle for meaningful impact.
A Caribbean Perspective
Based in Jamaica, Kimberly brings a distinctly Caribbean perspective to conversations about business, technology, communication and social impact. She believes Caribbean leaders and organizations should not simply respond to global changes in technology and culture they should have a voice in shaping the conversations around them. Her interests include Caribbean entrepreneurship, innovation, technology adoption, social impact and the future of work.
